FaxonGillis Homes has received numerous VESTA awards from the Memphis Home Builders Association for excellence in new home construction.

Jerry Gillis is a past President of the Home Builders Association of Memphis, and was inducted into the Tennessee Building Industry Hall of Fame in 2003. His many awards include being named Memphis “Builder Of The Year” in 1980 and the “Builder Of The Year” for the entire State of Tennessee in 1988. Jerry serves numerous organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, the Fire Museum of Memphis, and the City of Memphis Health, Education, Housing Facilities Board.

Bobbi Gillis is also very active in the community, currently serving on the Orpheum Board; Shelby County Health, Education, Housing Facilities Board; Community Foundation Board of Trustees; and as Tutor for “Our Children, Our Future” in the Memphis City Schools. She is a Past President of The Memphis Area Association Of Realtors and serves on the Tennessee Real Estate Commission. Bobbi was named as the 1996 Memphis “Realtor Of The Year” and 1997 “Realtor Of The Year” for the State of Tennessee.
